The Good Thing about Shadows

Dawn breaks over Somero
Is that if you see one, you can be sure that there is a light somewhere behind you.

After a weekend of greyness and rain, Somero woke up to bright sunshine this morning. Always very welcome of course, but especially so in the months leading up to winter.

Shadows mean there is light behind you
It is always possible to find beautiful things if you keep your eyes and your spirit open, but this morning it was impossible to miss the colours and light of autumn in Somero Town Centre.

All the leaves and the trees were bright and the sunshine made the whole town sparkle. As I took a couple of photos, at first I tried to avoid my own shadown being in the picture. But then it occured to me that the shadow should stay.  It was only there because there was sunshine behind me, and in my view, knowing the sun is still there despite everything is something that we should all try never to forget.

Wishing you a great week, Jody.

Duoring dark days people are smiling, thank goodness. It makes us happy.
