Minttu and the United Nations

The flags are flying for United Nations Day

Just a quick post because the last one says that today is Tuesday, which it clearly isn't anymore.

I am exhausted having been up for most of the night with Minttu who became unwell yesterday evening. Something seems to be wrong with her left arm which is causing her a lot of pain. We had to call an ambulance last night and have just been for x rays this morning, but we're still not sure what the problem is.

Hope to have more news later. At least for the moment she is sleeping, thank goodness. Meanwhile, this is the view from my bedroom window. The flags are up today as today is United Nations Day. Cameron eventually finished his presentation for school on the United Nations, having at first told me "I can't find anything about the United Nations on the internet...."

How is it that 11 year old boys only ever seem to have problems finding material that is connected to homework? Perhaps I should call Ban Ki-moon and suggest that does a bit more marketing.  Anyway, happy UN day wherever you may be. With love from someone very tired....
